Schon einige Male durfte ich bei einem Heiratsantrag dabei sein. Entweder verstecke ich mich bzw. tarne mich zum Beispiel als Touristin und halte im entscheidenden Moment die Kamera bereit. Oder das Paar bucht ein Fotoshooting (z.B. vorgängig als Gutschein zum Geburtstag verschenkt), bei dem die Person, die den Antrag plant, mich im Voraus über ihr Vorhaben informiert. So können wir alles gemeinsam bis ins Detail planen. Ich bin jedes Mal selbst ein wenig nervös – umso schöner ist der Moment, wenn es heisst: „Ja, ich will.“
I’ve had the pleasure of being part of several marriage proposals. Sometimes I discreetly hide or blend in as, for example, a tourist and start capturing the moment at exactly the right time. In other cases, the couple books a photo shoot (often given as a birthday gift), and the person planning the proposal informs me in advance so we can carefully plan every detail together.
I’m always a little nervous myself — but it makes me incredibly happy every single time I hear the words: “Yes, I do.”
